The Children's Medical Security Plan covers only two outpatient
surgical procedures. These are:
- Placement of tympanostomy tubes (ear tubes), including
anesthesia. Notification is not required for this procedure.
- Inguinal hernia repair, including anesthesia. Notification is not
required for this procedure.
